Sitong Liu is an award-winning illustrator and picture book maker based in New York, originally from Changchun, China.
She began her art career in Beijing in 2020. In 2024, Sitong graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a bachelor's degree in Illustration and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in the School of Visual Arts' Illustration as Visual Essay program.
She is currently focused on picture books and is represented by Sanford J. Greenburger Associates. Her picture book work often draws inspiration from nature and animals, blending humor with subtle dark elements. Working with vivid color and hand-drawn textures, she builds stories that lean into curiosity, mystery, and emotional connection.
