Escape from the Museum is a series of scene-based illustrations reimagining three exhibition spaces—Asian art, taxidermy and jewelry, and Egyptian artifacts—within a fictional, dreamlike museum. Inspired by a night visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the series captures the moment when the museum transforms after dark: silent halls begin to hum with hidden life, and the static objects seem to awaken with emotion and memory.
